Manns Harbor is a small fishing village on the western Banks of Croatan Sound. It is just east of the US64 US 264 intersection. The William B. Umstead Bridge and the newer Virginia Dare Memorial Bridge link Manns Harbor on the mainland to Manteo on Roanoke Island.

Manns Harbor is home of Spencer Yachts. Spencer Yachts makes some beatuiful high performance fishing yachts. Spencer Yachts. They were building a new yacht while we were in Manns Harbor.

We found a few boats and crab pots at the old ferry dock. The ferry provided a link between Manns Harbor and Roanoke Island til 1957 when the William B Umstead Bridge was comleted.
